I've been watching Drugs Inc, Intervention, Underworld Inc, Making a Murderer was insane, Ink Master and those are more reality/documentary style. As far as fictional TV I absolutely love American Horror Story, Supernatural is my favorite show in the world, I also like House, Bones, Scrubs, and Weeds. I agree with needing to watch Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul
I'm watching "The Wire" ATM and it seems pretty good so far, but I'm only on ep 3
If you're interested in comedy, I would highly recommend Parks & Recreation. Easily one of my favorite shows even though I rarely watch TV shows.

I've been recommending UnReal to everyone. A lot of people have avoided the show because it's on Lifetime but it's so good. It's a scripted show about reality television. It's basically told from the point of view of the producers and shows how the producers manipulate contestants and edit them to make good reality television even though it's not exactly reality. It's in it's second season and the first season is on Hulu and OnDemand. I highly recommend it.
Sounds crap but once you get into it it's quite entertaining haha. Basically a ghost a werewolf and a vampire geeza all live in the same house together and have to fight off against the evil assholes on an almost daily basis and then in season 3/4 there's some pretty big shake ups to the whole plot
