    [xbox] GT Question

Hi! I don't even know if this is okay, so if not, my sincerest apologies.

But, there's a GT I've been stalking for awhile that has like 10 GS, and looks like it's been inactive for a long while. And I want it.

I don't even think it's really even sought after. I just want it.

Is there any way to get into that account and get it released?

There were a few ways years and years ago before Microsoft amped up their security.
I don't think there's any ways to do it now, but if there are there's a few things you need.

First, you need to see if the account is still a Silver account. If it is, there's a chance you can try to contact Microsoft and say that it's your old account that you no longer have access to. Plenty of people vouching that works.

Recently however, Microsoft did run a purge of 1mil+ Silver accounts ranging from real names, to foods, locations, and technology.
If it's not a really common thing, you can try to see if it was purged and if no one made the account.
That's how I got my current GT.

Without the original credit card/email/console its almost impossible.
Some guy on neogaf spent months arguing with MS to get his old gamertag back and they refused to give it to him even tho he had multiple forms of ID to prove he was the owner.
They wanted him to provide the console ID # he used with that gamertag

Better off waiting til the next purge which willl be yrs from now probably since the last one was a few weeks back
