Drinking a lot of beer will make you have a man body aka beer belly. Some ladies dig that.
dad bod > gym bod
Maybe try to remember why you wanted to start going to the gym in the first place? And see your transformations along your journey. Then reflect if your reasons as to why you started with the gym are still fitting today. Just make sure you do your reflection in between sets.

I've started to realize that you can never decide on one thing. Moving from job to job, this and that. Just pick something and stick with it. You can take a break from the gym and do something else for a bit.
