Proof TNT is doing work on the battledome?

So I'm goin' around Neo, just doin' my thang when I get this random event.



There's two things about this RE that make me think they might be doing things.

1.) Meuka used to be obtained ONLY through visiting the quick ref page with one of your pets that have Sneezles or Neoflu or whatever the second disease was.
2.) This RE has been around for years. I've gotten it many MANY times. However, it's never once awarded Meuka as a BD challenger. In addition to that, there's new art for getting Meuka as a challenger whereas other challengers (Black Pteri for example) Still have old art from RE's that give challengers.

Am I being too skeptical, or what? Thoughts guys?

I thought that they fixed some of the weapons for the BD? I could be wrong, but I thought I read that on here somewhere. Perhaps that means they are doing SOMETHING with the BD. Have you tried going to the dome and seeing if you actually got meuka as a challenger? It would be so like them to give out this RE but then not have meuka activated for the user

I think all your point is saying is that they gave Meuka an update. And they probably had a lot of ACRES whining the avatar was unavailable.

One of my favorite avatars though and there are few that I like.

That was one of the things I was curious about. If the event activated Meuka or not, and sure enough.



Also. The account I was one was a complete shell. There's absolutely no chance the account had Meuka as a challenger beforehand. Just to clear the possibility that he might have been a challenger beforehand.

It's a small step, but at least it's a step in the right direction. They have to start SOMEWHERE after all. Maybe they were tinkering with it, trying to figure out how everything fit together, before they really sat down and got to work. It's better to mess up a small thing than go for it all and really screw things up. So I'll take this as a little bit of good news for now.

I'm debating with myself if they would make the changes or not just for the avatar or not.
The avatar itself was never made to be unavailable. To my knowledge at least.

And if people were just not able to get the diseases needed, I don't think TNT would change the methods for getting Meuka as a challenger after a decade or so.

Nvm you're right. I thought it was a random event to get meuka even back in the day. Forgot it depends on an illness usually!
