no, there's no event that give old avatars, each avatar has/had a specific way of getting it.

The both days the avatar i said was given was on days the site was like this, but since i guess both of them were before jumsptart bought the company, there's a really low chance of it coming back ;.;

I'm just flooded with nostalgia today, it's like it's 2002 all over and I've got my shitty dialup connection. It's after noon NST and I still haven't finished my dailies, I'm usually done by like 7am but I keep checking the window to see if anything happened - NOPE - back to work I go...

For the first 2-3 days the coincidence daily had a chance of giving out retired avatars. A bunch of people were butthurt though so they disabled that prize. :/ I would love to see them update the event to include that chance again.
