Nick is a whiny manchild, Gatsby got ghosted and couldn't get over it, Daisy has literally no idea what she wants at any point in time ever, Tom basically got fucked for no good reason dealing with all these rich idiots, and F. Scott Fitzgerald probably plagiarized like half the novel from his wife before having her committed irl. Something something the billboard is a metaphor for the eyes of god, green lights mean things, what is love (baby don't hurt me). In conclusion: Money is amazing...but terrible!?!? But amazing. America!

(but seriously just sparknotes that shit, everyone and their mom had to read it in highschool so there's probably heaps of info online you can just kinda work into a half assed report and at least get a C)
