I saw this last night and was genuinely so surprised that this movie is absolutely fantastic. The first Cloverfield movie was not great at all but this one surpassed it by far.
I recommend seeing it if you like creepy-ish, suspenseful movies that keep you guessing. Don't watch the trailer, just go into the movie knowing nothing and I feel like it's better. You don't need to have seen Cloverfield either to be able to watch it.
Go see it ok.

I keep seeing the trailers and keep getting intrigued. Although evetytime I think a movie is going to be scary or super suspenseful it ends up being like an M.Night Shamalan "scary moment"...the "oh...that is what I have been waiting for this whole time, and water can beat it?"
Saw the trailer twice and I really really want to watch it. I need to know what she sees when she looks out. But I absolutely cannot watch creepy suspense movies so I'll just end up reading the synopsis on IMDB.
That's good to know you don't have to see the original. I tried watching that back when it came out but never got through the whole thing...been thinking about seeing 10 Cloverfield lane though. I didn't even realize they were connected lol.
This is very satisfying to know it is much better than the first. I might actually go see it now lol
Thanks for your opinions guys ;3; as a person who works at a movie theater I usually get asked if movies are good so I guess I can let people know y'all liked it.
Some people like it at least. I wont go spend money in the theatre to see it though. If it did bad in the box office maybe there is hope it will end up on Netflix lol
Its not worth it to go to cinema for this film. For me it was boring...
