My dislike of Valentine's is similar to my dislike of Christmas. I'm in the camp of preferring to show appreciation for my loved ones on random occasions, not on socially prescribed days. At first my husband thought it was a trap, but now he understands that I genuinely feel this way.

I think it's just not something for me. I'm not romantic, nor am I dating someone or anything, and even if I was, I see no point in buying gifts and stuff, and I'd probably yell at my SO, if I had one, if they tried something like that with me, so, yeah, Valentines' Day is basically the eve of 75% off chocolate sales day for me.
im netflix and jilling all day errday

My gifts to him: kinder surprise, kitkat
His gift to me: bag of hickory sticks and swedish fish candy.
That is the extent of our Valentines day and we are both more than happy with keeping it that way.
My ex girlfriend is laying in bed with me right now.
