    Would this be allowed?

Opening some sort of pawn shop/loan shop on cK?

For instance, someone needs to borrow $20 and can put ~15m in ETS collat down to get a loan.
Or someone needs to borrow $20 and pays back the amount + X amount of interest after X amount of days?

Obviously, there would have to be definite trust between the person running the loans and the person they loan to. And the person being lent the money would have to verify none of their collateral was changed over the loan period.

There'd be a lot of factors to take into account for both parties but it is something I was thinking about earlier.

Also, would anyone see this as being a good idea?

I would say no - only because I can see this getting out of hand and people might steal your money and not pay the fees if they are late or w/e.

There is no plugin that allows such a feature that I am aware of and doing it via threads would be hard to control in the long run. Good idea!
