I'm moving right after Christmas so I asked for a dishwasher or a high kitchen sink faucet, vouchers for babysitting/moving help, and a new vacuum that will work on tile floor.

I got some bluetooth headphones on black friday as an early Christmas gift and they're uh-mazing.

I really want a 1 TB i7 surface 4 tablet BUT i know that's not happening lmaoo. or the surface book is even cool.

realistically I'll probably just get some regular household things for my apt.

I got my bf some cool stuff though. I made him a "Christmas Bundle Gaming Gift Set" which consists of a shirt that I designed myself and one I got from a store featuring some of his fave game characters and memes. there's a couple league figures.. and I also snagged him a gameboy micro FF IV edition for cheap.

I already got help with a portion of my dogs vet bills and my electricty bill, so that will probably be most of what's on my list. A living pet and a warm, lit home. But for my list I included an American Giant sweatshirt, mod podge, very fine paint brushes and some tank tops.

We grew up with little money so I am always used to asking for very little or small things that I knew would not be a burden to buy. My brother has no concept of money though so he has always asked for things more expensive than anyone in the family can afford.

This rings true of growing up in my family with my sister. I'm not fond of Xmas, as a result; the guilt and responsibility I felt, and the anger at my sister's selfishness.

I agree with so many who have already posted - Christmas is more for kids to get toys, whereas when you become an adult, it's like idk what I want - I can just buy that stuff.. But one thing I do need and have not purchased myself yet is a GPS. I travel a lot, and previously I used my phone because I had unlimited data, but.. I upgraded my phone and lost that, so now I need one.

I just like buying something for a loved one that I think they will like that I picked out on my own. I don't like shopping off of someones list or having people tell me what they want... what is the point of that.
