Good luck.
When facing a tough review, I like to turn the tables and ask them questions.
Like, "What kind of steps have you taken or do you plan on taking to help me reach your expectations?" "As a leader you already know that your team needs to function like a machine. What part of this machine do you think I'd be most efficient at and how can I be better?"
or if they're really an a-hole you can say,
"Reviews are a stressful time for everyone and I wouldn't be so stressed out if I didn't care. Before we continue, I'd like to take the time to tell you what you can do better so that I might be more prepared."

Good luck!
Let us know how it goes If it doesn't go well, definitely take the advice @(you need an account to see links) just gave. Ask them questions, so you know EXACTLY where your "weaknesses" are!

Guys, you are so awesome! Thanks for all the love <3 I was sitting in the bar waiting for my turn and reading this on Tapatalk and I was so confident! Turned out that he had my past review and my recent review in hands and he was going over each point one by one, like: Greeting Guests, Proud Pint and Proud Plate, Family Member, Cash out, etc. i decided to stay quiet and dont argue over negative things. But in every single thing that i was "developing" I got "delivering" and some things from delivery now are "exceeding". So he said it was a huge improvement over only 6 months and everything was pretty much positive. Only negative-ish was transfer tables, but that kinda sucks for everyone, considering that he transfer times are awful when the restaurant is busy and that sometimes there is miscommunication for many reasons, e.i. that server that is taking over receiving 7tbls at the same time and just saying she understood everything. But I said I would improve that and make sure that there are no misunderstandings. I finished up saying some cool stuff Ive been learning in Organizational Behavior classes like how we are a "Clan Culture" restaurant and not a Market Culture and how that helped me adapting in Canada and creating conections with the other family members to take customer service to another level. Yeah, I remembered all that lame stuff and he was so impressde that his eyes even sparkled and he took notes. He said he likes where my head is at and congratulations for the attitude. I took advantage of the situation and said that Id be taking 3months vacation in April and he said it should be fine and I wouldnt have to quit. So yeah, thanks guys! I agree with @(you need an account to see links) as well, I told him that I like feedback cause I can become a better server and now I know that Ive been improving and when he asked me where do I see myserlf in the company in 12 months I kinda turned the question for him and the conversation going in the way I wanted, so I knew what to say. Thank you so much guys. And good luck @(you need an account to see links)! Im sure you will do great![COLOR="Silver"]
