So Riot has started announcing the intended changes for season 6, with some of them already being tested on the PBE. What're your thoughts on the changes coming next year? I'm wishing they weren't remaking my main, Ashe, again- she only just got a rework and doesn't need another.
@(you need an account to see links) don't worry, S6 will probably start in January 2016. I like the new draft mode style - reminds me of teambuilder and should definitely help people face "ELO hell"
I don't necessarily agree with Virus's opinion, but I hear a lot of people complaining a similar train of thought nowadays.
It has a lot to do with the fact that Riot aims to create a more balanced state of gameplay - inevitably involving nerfing champs and gameplay styles (snowballing is nowhere near as brutal as it used to be, a lot of items are less impactful than before, etc.) This has a lot to do with the fact that the game has a pro scene, where balanced gameplay is crucial.
Riot also tries to change League year over year - sometimes making changes that are totally unnecessary. I think this is how they try and keep the game dynamic, but sometimes it seems to backfire.
The changes in vision control have changed a lot about how the game is played in the Korean pro circuit. Different strategy, more deaths due to face-checking.
