    I guess I'm really dumb but I tried using proxys the other day and it wasn't working so well. After finding a proxy that would actually work with the Neopets site, I would try to log on and the page would refresh once i would hit the Log In button which made me not be able to log in. Do you know why this happens?

    Yes! It's been years that Tnt adopts a general system of proxy detection!

    I have a suggestion.
    Try using hotspotsield
    or if you are using windows,
    go to either google chrome or internet explorer,
    go to internet settings
    go to lan settings
    add in the proxies.

    Before that, you must check that the ip is usable. Google is your best friend.

    Great explanation, thank you for taking the time to write this - I had no idea what were proxys for, now I have a more clear view.
