Do you regularly "shut down" your computer?

I personally run my mac 24/7. I have a program that I run throughout the day and part of the night, but I have my laptop set where it doesn't go to sleep. I've only been doing this for maybe 3 or 4 months. Prior to that I would shut it down semi-regularly. I've noticed that for me my laptop has been running more smoothly keeping it up all the time, but that may just be coincidence. c:

I only shut down/restart my laptop if I know I'll be gone for the entire day. Otherwise I just let it sit on standby/close it up and charge it.

I find it funny that I was reading this topic today, and then during class I noticed my battery on my laptop now says "Condition: Replace Soon"

I like to shutdown pretty regularly... I'm also that person who actually uses their parking brake too lol

Everyday when I'm going to sleep, try to keep it off if i'm not running anything or doing anything on it, cuts down on electric bills
