I always let my laptop sleep, basically until it dies
My desktop is off until I need it, which is maybe once a week.
I'll be honest I'm just lazy with the laptop LOL

I let my laptop sleep whenever I am done because... Its got a battery.
My desktop? I am sure the off/on button thing still works but why would I test it?

In all seriousness leaving the pc on consumes more electricity, turning it off and on shortens component lifetime.

In the long run its still cheaper to turn off every time.
Is it that big of a deal? Well not really.
