I adore harvest moon! The newest handhelds haven't really kept my interest though, so I'm hoping they'll announce a console title soon ;w; That one weird hm/minecraft wannabe I didn't even get tbh.

I've played pretty much every Harvest Moon game, but their popularity is declining as the market moves toward something different. Unfortunately it looks like the series might remain a leisurely handheld farming/dating sim mix and then fall into decline.

I was into the Spinoff (Rune Factory) for a while, which had two really great console versions (Frontier and Tides of Destiny, Tides being the better one), but I believe the company that bought it went bankrupt.. no more Rune Factory. 8(

loved it on snes. if you like harvest moon you should have a look at stardew valley

For folks interested, there is a relatively new crossover game with Story of Seasons and PopoLaCrois released in NA last month: (you need an account to see links). I picked it up on release but have yet to find time to play it. Will update once I do!
