Multiplication and Division are equal in the order of operations. For operations of equal order, you simply work from left to right. So the answer is 288. 2 is wrong.Originally Posted by MTG

You should do it in order of pemdas that's the one thing I remember from algebra lol
That is incorrect. They occur simultaneously, same as addition/subtraction. Since that's obviously impossible to do in practice, you work from left to right.

Also, what's PEMDAS? We were always taught BIDMAS(I guess it's the english version)
