I inherited a stamp collection which is three generations old and it's fallen upon me to expand it best I can.

Yeah got heaps which we received, but even more I've bought with my mum from the philatelic society.
My Uncle was stationed in Hungary so have lots from Magyar Posta, Germany, Russia and Turkey.
Then he moved to UAE so he sent lots of postcards to my grandparents and my mum has those.
Collected tonnes from Australia, New Zealand and India and distant relatives from USA, Uganda, Lebanon and Canada also used to send heaps.
It's mainly my Grandad's natural collection, but me and Mum used to go out and buy/trade for them every weekend when I was younger.

They're all in albums, some categorized by country, others by image (e.g collection of automotive vehicles, collection of bird stamps etc).

I have a huge bin leftover from childhood. Like the rest of the world, I was absolutely convinced they would be a long term investment. I still played with mine, but I insisted that we never thrown them out.

I think some of them are actually pretty pricey. Depending if they're those limited edition or those special yearly ones idek.
Do you know how many you have?

Essie is the best! Julep is a close second and China Glaze comes third.
Essie, though. Wow, I love it.

I feel with China Glaze, I need way more layers. Where with Essie, I don't need as many.
