just report it and ignore it.
r u serious rite now...all dat farmacists do is just put medicine in a bottle? o plz
Pharmacists have to know everything in a prescribed/over-the-table medication. And by everything, I mean pretty much everything. They don't just put dumb pills in a bottle. You have to know a great deal of chemistry, including compounding medication. You also have to know what each drug does to a person, how it does it, and what may be the symptoms. You know have to basically be an expert in chemistry.
A client will come in and say they need so and so prescription, looking at their files you have to know whether the new medicine may counteract with the medicine they're currently taking. It's not a "duhh....i dunno i just pack bottles lolz."
In fact, pharmacists who work in hospitals actually advise medical doctors as to what to give to their patient.
Example, a doctor calls a pharmacist "What should I give somebody who has been having (include symptoms here) and inflamed (whatever)."
A pharmacist has to recommend a medication, and the required dose, plus the side effects and more. Basically on the spot.
And I probably didn't even say half the stuff they do. A lot more too!
SO UH NO, not anyone can do it. There's a reason it takes about 6 years of schooling for just pharmacology. Be quiet GOSH.
but I still luv u royalty cos u gave me a krawk <3
damn i am soooo reminded of na**i right now...................
just report it and ignore it.
The doctor is usually the one who prescribes/check if they medicines he has already prescribed will kill you if mixed.
But, I guess a Pharmacist does that also.
Yeah physicians usually do that too. But I've talked to a pharmacist and asked how his day was, and he just explained that it was just constant calls of doctors asking what to give their patients, with full details.
Pharmacist advise doctors too. It isn't an easy profession, there's a reason they get paid well. xD
I can google a medicine and find out what's in it, what it does, and how much to take.
So should i cut out the middle man and just order straight from the company?
Sounds like it would save me a lot of money in the long run
Okay do that when you're on a hospital bed boo boo.
Why don't doctors do that either? Because they rather get it from a real reliable source. :-)
In fact, with that argument, why go to the doctors at all? Just google your symptoms huh. Saves money in the long run right?
forgot doctors deres da internetz

Well there are actual physical things doctors do to see what is wrong with you.
But if all pharmacists need to know is medicines and what is in them and which to prescribe...I think that doctors probably already know that stuff anyway seeing as the only people I have ever had prescribe me things was a doctor lol
well da only reason i posted this topic is cause i like to annoy people wif my exaggerated salary :-)
