Think it was Laputa- don't really remember as I find most of their stuff a bit dull tbh. Apart from Howl's and Cat Returns, I love those two so much. Keep meaning to watch Whisper of the Heart just to see Baron's origins.

"My Neighbor Totoro" was my first, but "Ponyo" is my favorite.

Spirited Away, I watched when it first came out, I was ten, and my parents had borrowed it from Blockbusters, uneasy of what was that about, but yet curious, so, we all sat down, my parents, my sister and me, and watched it, and, oh my God, that sold me to Ghibli right away, I had never seen such an amazing cartoon before. My parents thought it was psychedelic and they said it felt like they had just gone through an acid trip, but I didn't care, I loved it!

I'd recommend anyone watching "When Marnie was there" by Ghibli

I honestly Cried, I can relate so much to Anna, not just by name

Princess Mononoke was the first, and I recently rewatched it. I should go binge watching their films soon, would definitely be worth my time as it appears all of their films are great.
