First one I remember watching was Spirited Away. My mom introduced it to me and my sisters, and we all loved it, even if it creeped us out a tiny bit at the time.

I think my first one was Spirited Away, followed shortly after by Kiki's Delivery Service. I think I saw them both in the same week or something because Adult Swim was doing a Ghibli thing. After that, I looked up a ton more and realized how amazing Studio Ghibli films were ♥

My first was Spirited Away, which I was underwhelmed by. Then my girlfriend introduced me to Howl's moving castle & princess Mononoke and I swiftly watched most of the Ghibli films after that.
No idea why spirited away got the greater western promotion of the Ghibli films when Howl, Mononoke, Kiki and Totoro stand out to me as far better films.
