Yeah, I could give Pokemon from my shop as well but I don't want to get in trouble, since it might appear I am trying to promote my shop. :/

Uh, the trios would be banned, since they're legendaries. I kind of assumed single battle, since it's gen 1 and 2. I'll edit the first post.

Rather disappointed. With everyone wanting in on a Pokemon forum, I imagined a tournament would spark interest.

Yeah, interest isn't good enough for a tournament, clearly. However I guess like you said, battles can still be done on your own for fun, practice, testing new teams and so forth.

Sorry it didn't pan out like we had hoped and originally expected.

Definitely! There was a ton of interest at one point then the forum section was released and interest ironically fizzled out.
