Oh yeah, forgot about that for a second there. Maybe resetting the modem?
Sounds like your host file might be redirecting google to your localhost.
Start >Run >copy paste: C:\windows\SYSTEM32\drivers\etc >(tap enter)
Edit the 'hosts' file in notepad and look for Google, if it's there delete that line.
Also, your DNS servers might not be resolving Google correctly, try using Google's DNS in your router settings or OpenDNS. You can also edit your DNS under IPV4 in Windows, but that won't resolve the problem network-wide.
I realize this is late reply but people blame everything on rogue infections and it bothers me, so this might help others having the same issue.
Sorry I misread the post. Thought you said it redirected you to a site with a Google search in it.

do you have a proxy on it ??? it could be that =]
Sounds like a DNS issue; if you have Admin permissions, try an IPCONFIG /release and IPCONFIG /renew
Windows only
Go to an elevated DOS prompt (rt click cmd.exe under Accessories and select Run As Administrator)
Enter Admin credentials
In DOS window type ipconfig /release
Type inconfig /renew
No, he checked if he was on a proxy and can browse other sites.
No, usually it will try to redirect to a click-revenue site, redirecting to a blank page would be pointless.
Also, all IPconfig release/renew does is flush your settings and send a new DHCP request; chances are you will get the same DNS servers unless the DHCP server has been configured otherwise, so that won't help.
my google isnt working too i cant get my images -__-
