    My intestines wont stfu

Alright, so i've had this problem for about 4 years now. Damn thing growls for no god damn reason when i'm in quite areas for too long(usually sitting). First time it happened was in class. It was a minor one so i took it as a sign of being hungry or something. Then i was writing an exam and it went off. I think it sang an entire song in about 10 seconds. After that day, it started happening more often. It got to the point that i ended up dropping out. I had several tests done and everything was negative. They put a camera down my throat to check and nothing. My specialist hasn't really diagnosed me of IBS but that's a BS label anyway. I'm in decent shape, i work out and try not to eat junk food or dairy products and coffee and usually i'm fine but when i'm in a meeting or something at work with a bunch of people, it starts acting up. I start to feel really bloated and uncomfortable and it starts growling again.(Sometime loud and sometimes not as loudly) I have tried a lot of random diets, gluten free etc but no luck.

I know anxiety is a part of it but that only started after the problem worsened.

I'm planning on going back to school this year, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue here and how they've dealt with it.

WELL digestion issues are my specialty.

    My BFF are these supplements.

I know they're a bit expensive but you can also try Digest; it just has lesser amounts of the same ingredients. You might be having issues digesting food properly and these supplements help you digest food.

These are drops I do when I'm having indigestion issues. Calms my stomach down within 5 minutes.

Now, these are only for physical ailments. I'd suggest looking into some sort of therapy or breathing exercises before you get into social situations. If I know I'm going into awk situations, I give myself a quick shoulder massage and then end it with deep breathing. Breathe from your stomach; in through your out through your mouth.

Has your doctor ever mentioned something called eosinophilic esophagitis? It's a disease where white blood cells in your throat attack food that you eat, thinking that it's an invader. It's kind of fake allergies to food, which can result in scarring in your throat and stomach issues. It's something I have had since I was a kid and it took them 10 years to diagnose it. Most doctors don't know anything about it so don't look for it when doing an endoscopy. If you can afford it, research for a gastroenterologist in your area who is familiar with it. They may want to do another endoscopy to test for your white blood cell count in various parts of your digestive system.

Thanks, that's interesting. I will look into it after work and talk to my doctor and specialist about it next time i'm in. Do you have similar symptoms? as far as noise and feeling air trapped in your digestive tract? Because even in my case, it seems like an allergy to me rather than digestion issues.

I don't have it anymore (it hasn't been studied much but it is possible to grow out of it). Having air trapped in your stomach could definitely be part of it though, my brother doesn't eat much because he feels full all the time- which is part of the air in the stomach thing. It could be related, it could not be but it's definitely worth checking out. There's no cure for it right now, but they can help you figure out which foods cause it so you can avoid them.

I've had amazing results with this thing called Colon Health, it's a probiotic. It has helped regulate my movements, as well as get rid of the bloating/nausea/general ill feeling. I'd suggest you give it a try.

    Oh ok that's good.

Yeah, for sure. I'll have to check out every possible option. Thanks for the help.

I was prescribed probiotics at one point, took it for a month or so but didn't really get into multiple hour quite sessions with anybody lol I'll try it again soon though.
