...and this time of year!
They were renovating the employee kitchen thing at work today do I went out to get some lunch. But there are people everything at this mall, so many stupid people. I've almost been run into at least half a dozen times.
Its like people turn their brain off and just want to go shop. Holy shit.
Why don't they just shop online? So much easier!
What's my definition of success?

I don't miss working in malls, at all. Especially around christmas.
People are what turn me into a mini alcoholic around the holidays.
I was convinced that it was the hot weather that brings the crazy out in people. But now, I'm starting to think that people are just crazy 24/7/365.
The only good thing about where I work is that employees are te only ones allowed to park on the top level of the parking garage. That's just a tiny bonus though haha

Working in retail has really fueled my dislike in humanity and this time of year only amplifies that.
I did however have a customer tell me I was the best thing that has happened to her all year, so there is good people out there... Just not as many as there should be.

I'd take that compliment, what a nice person. I did have a player at my table tip me pretty well a few times, so it's not all bad I guess.
Idk if I technically work in retail, but it's all around me so it's effects start to seep in after so long.
My sympathies always go out to those who work in retail around the holidays. Stay strong!

Oh dude I started tearing up when she said it, hugged me and everything. All I do is paint her nails and listen to her stories. Makes me wonder if she is lonely and I can fill that void. It warms my heart to know that I can be there for her c:
