Disagree all you want lol it's proven by numbers that these "departments" of Neo are not bringing interest for the site. They are becoming irrelevant. The site needs to go mobile. Why have these staff who run these contests (which are losing players each month) on payroll when they can ditch them and hire some employees doing more relevant stuff for the company.

I think this whole companies plan is what I described before. They have no intentions of doing anything for the website.

They are going to take it mobile and use it to make themselves more known. They found an old toy on the clearance section and are going to use it how they want. They bought it for its reputation.

The other part is milk whatever they can from the neocash. Population levels on the site are an added bonus but I don't think that is their goal at all here. They probably see a lot of games at neopets good for making mobile (meerca chase). So yeah..that's all they want out of this relationship.

Sorry people. Should be clear what this company is up to by this point.

lenny conundrum was never shut down like the random contest though. lenny conundrum just fuckin broke ahaha.

IMO it would be in Jumpstart's best interest to fix the Lenny Conundrum. They make so many educational games already; to add a weekly math/logic brain-teaser would fit well within their brand (and make parents, aka the ones with the wallets, happy)

Agreed with the people who are pointing out that the Random Contest has lost it's interest factor to Neopets. There have been times when the RC had to be extended a few times because there weren't "enough entries." Most people who are whining about RC going away are those who did not bother or were too lazy to enter before, and get the avatar. Now that it is going away they are all scrambling to try for it because it's going to be retired. Same thing happened with IOM.
