Dude just go to a Credit Agency like my bank... Leaders Credit Union. Break out a small loan, get drunk. Make the minimum payment on the loan each month (DONT PAY IT ALL BACK IN 1 PAYMENT) this will help you build credit, AND have money to blow. (I suggest a credit union because they have by far the lowest interest rates) meaning you wont pay back 2,000 on a 500 dollar loan. lol

I couldn't have worded that any better. If you live closer to a big city, there should be plenty of credit unions around.

This is a common myth! Paying the whole balance in full is the best way to handle credit.

(you need an account to see links) (Experian is one of the 3 credit bureaus, those 3 are the ones that determine your official credit score)

While it is advised that you always make some purchases on the card each month, it's best to only use less than 50% of your limit during the month (i.e. you don't want your monthly snapshot to show 90% utilization at any point even if you plan to pay it back at payment time) and then pay the whole thing off when it's due. Creditors see that you're reliable/trustworthy in giving them back the money you borrowed from them, you don't have to pay interest, and your utilization stays low, all of which are positives for your overall score and general financial health. Win-win-win.

Stay in the 1-10 percent utilization anymore or less can hurt your credit!

Is there any way to build credit WITHOUT a credit card? What can I do?
Best credit upgrade is actually student loans.
They are easy to apply and hassle-free
Once you have finished paying them, you can instantly get 300 credits.
