    Programming Attempt

    Hiya all,

Im almost 23 years old and hoping to graduate at the end of this year. Since I was five ive always been behind a computer and in my early teens I had loads of fun developing websites using HTML.

Since im almost done with school and im kind of a computer freak I want to learn about programming. I remember having loads of fun and determanation with HTML about 10 years back and I want that again.

My question to you guys is: What kind of programming language do you advise me to learn and why?

I'd say Visual Basic 6 is the best choice to learn for making Neopets programs. It's easy to learn and it's what most of the programmers here use, so if you have a problem you can ask them. If you wanted to do Java or something, you wouldn't be able to get a ton of help; Josh21227 can make Neopets programs in Java, but he's not always around to be able to help.

I would say .net, java or python. I would recommend learning good programming technics though, start with a good programming book and then try tutorials.
