that is actually one of the places that i want to go most. i have heard incredible things.
I've never been there aswell, but I've watched videos on Iceland in my Travel and Tourism classes.
It looks really beautiful, I'd want to go there aswell.
If you're looking for something peaceful, Iceland definitely seems like a good choice!

i've been to iceland a few times with my family, we toured the waterfalls and the glaciers and mountains. they're everywhere, just rent a car and explore!! that alone makes it worth the trip. we're from ottawa and couldn't get a direct commercial flight.

I have been taking some earth science courses in University as fillers and I have come to realize that Iceland is a place I would love to visit. The volcanoes are amazing, the mountains and valleys are beautiful and the Mid-Atlantic Ridge passes through the country. Eventually Iceland will be split apart due to that ridge and there is a bridge you can go across called the Leif the Lucky bridge which spans the location of the split between the North American tectonic plate and the Eurasian tectonic plate. I want to go see that.
The bridge isn't much but it is what it represents that makes it neat.
