i encountered someone on the ncc that wanted an over-offer of about 15 caps for an item that i was offering all of their wishlist items for and held me up for days to back out in the end because i wasn't over-offering as much as they liked. still seeking their wishlist items so good 4 u
and on the tc people are so GREEDY and stingy and money crazed like

To be fair guys if it was the other way around and you'd received an overoffer from someone you knew really really wanted the pet, you'd try to get as much out of it as possible too.

I've never done it 'cause nobody's overoffered on my crappy pets but if the chance ever comes you bet I'll take advantage of it.

I received overoffers more than once and I always accept them and run. Because I know the PC, and people back out all the time. Just like I will do, now that they're being greedy and annoying. It's just not a smart move, so no, not everybody would do that. Just because I want someone's pet, doesn't mean I'll be their little bitch.

I agree, I have been trading for quite some time and whenever I received an overoffer, I accepted it. Even when someone wants the pet badly, there are limits for that person too. Fact that they are willing to overoffer, was enough for me to accept.

wanting a pet really badly is absolutely no reason to take advantage of their desperation for the pet. kudos to you for not seeking more than what they already (over)offered.

I don't understand it.

People want over offers, and when they get it, because they got it once, the want an even higher over offer. And then they complain when they get no offers! It makes no sense!

There's this one person with a pet I REALLY a want, but they want an EXTREME over offer to trade it. I would actually over offer if the owner weren't such a shit face. I hope he trades so I can over offer to the new owner (an my offer is UC PRDK for a RW/RN pet!) ... Sheesh!
