i think its the people in the apartment you need to blame
not the apartment itself, apartments dont make noises by themselves

7:30am isn't that bad....try 2 in the morning. I paid a premium for a 2-bedroom apartment to myself during university and I had a bunch of douches upstairs who would start doing their lifts/exercises at 2-3am in the morning. This wasn't any light drops. They were seriously pounding the floor for a good 20 minutes or so. They'd sleep until 12pm...not even sure if they even attended classes. This was recurrent for a week and the only solution I've found (tried leaving a note/talking to them) is to get the landlord involved especially if they value your money as a long term resident. If they keep fucking around, then have a municipal officer (or if your city doesn't have one, probably using law enforcement) deal with the situation by enacting noise ordinances.
