can someone tell me how to change my IP please?

    because I am technologically incompetent?
I just wanna switch my current IP to a different one with the same internet connection. I'm trying to start playing on a new neo account and yeah. I tried proxies but I obvs don't want my IP address changing all the time.

    Any help appreciated

Like you have an address but want to set it up to your computer permanently? Are you running Windows? This Hawking-talk-alike made a spiffy video:

Also, whether you're familiar with command prompt or not, you should be able to acquire a new IP address (if this is what you were requesting) by (you need an account to see links).

Were you reading the "Method 2 of 2: Acquire a New IP Address in Mac" portion of the page? Have you tried powering off and then back on your modem as Joe suggested (some ISPs won't allow this method)?

@(you need an account to see links) already pretty much answered it but basically what I use is private internet access. you have to pay for it but you can choose which part of the world you want to connect to. it's all pretty beginner friendly, but if you PM me I can help you out. (if you end up getting it)
So i'm not constantly changing things up, I have 1 different part of the world dedicated to each shell account and I keep a note of it. So, like, in a list it'll be (shell user name here) (shell password) (shell birthday/pin) (area used for VPN)

Since neo only tracks the IP for when you log in, you can turn it off and chill once you're in the account. c:

edit: it's mac and windows friendly! I have a mac, and run it on bootcamp as well. works like a charm for both. c:
