It's a shame that these type of characters are the ones that over-shadow those that are actually good, and have little to nothing to do with a depressing character. There are plenty of animals out there that are grey naturally.. and aren't the most depressing thing in the world. I have a grey cat - he is hyper as fuck and not at all sad. I like grey as a color.. but God forbid I use it in a character design on Neo, because everyone will be like, "YOUR PET'S NOT GREY" or "Grey pet that's not sad? Wtf?"
