Bad movie that I like: probably Mortal Kombat. The effects were terrible and the acting was fairly wooden but it was a decent attempt at a video game movie.
Amazing movie that I hated: Napoleon Dynamite. Absolutely cannot stand that movie.
What are some movies that got bad ratings but are in your top 20 lists? Mine would be Hard Candy, that movie got harsh ratings but I thought it was fantastic. Let's flip the question as well: What are some movies that are said to be amazing but you hated? For me, LotR. Granted I last saw it when I was 12 so I didn't have the best taste, but still.

Movies that are considered "bad" such as Epic movie which was funny and i enjoyed, along with the Scary Movies.
Disaster movie sucked, though, and Movie 43 was ridiculously horrible.
Movies that bombed out in the box office though that i actually paid to watch was Green Lantern and Evan Almighty, while Poseidon is one of my all time favourite movies!

I like a lot of terrible movies from the 80's haha
But I also love the 80's.

Thank you to Monsters for this beautiful gif. <3 (It died with tinypic, press F)
@Andrew 15!!!!
Bad movies that I liked? Most Adam Sandler things. I mean, some of them even I won't go see (like Jack and Jill). But I saw his new movie "Blended" recently, and I have to say I enjoyed it?
"Awesome" movies that I dislike? Napoleon Dynamite, as stated by someone else here. Also, The Big Lebowski. Saw it on DVD a while back and figured I was probably too young to really get it (I was like 15). 21 now, saw it in a theater recently, and definitely enjoyed it more than I did before, but I still wouldn't say I liked it.
The Twilight movies (except for the very last one). They didn't bomb at the box office, but they are terrible films yet I can't help but like them. They appeal to a primitive part of my brain and while watching them I feel dirty and ashamed for liking them more than I should.
Famous movies that "everyone" likes and I don't are too many to list. On the top of my head: LotR, Harry Potter, all Disney movies, Brokeback Mountain, all James Bond movies, Beetlejuice and Moulin Rouge.
The horror movie MAMA and also the haunted house two ;D
everyone said it was terrible but I LOVED IT.
is it spooky season yet?
Oh, I came to think about a movie that I actually feel is highly underrated: Warm Bodies! It's not even a guilty-pleasure to me, I actually think it's genuinely good for what it is. It's interesting and original. I'm surprised it didn't get more attention.
Lady in the Water, by M. Night Shamalan (however you spell it) I can watch that movie over and over again
all the corny chick flicks with predictable endings. PURE LOVE.
frozen, it's okay, but i just don't feel the hype...
