    Always feeling itchy.... (rep)

Always feeling itchy.... like my back, head, alot of places. It get's so annoying. I've felt like this for a long time. I've never told my doctor (don't know why - it's not like a crazy issue) but it gets annoying and i'm going to call in and make a appointment soon. Anything i can buy or do now?

Serious question, please don't troll me (at least on this situation)

It could be allergies or something like that? idk.
The first thing that popped into my head was lice because I read it as back of head instead of back & head.
It could just be youre an itchy person? lol

Tell your doctor for starters, they may suggest some blood tests to see if there is an underlying cause for the itch.
Take cool showers, after use a moisturizer in case your skin is dry, dryness promotes more itching.
It could be an allergy to your detergent? Have you changed that recently? Even body soap can cause itchiness.
Is there a specific location or just everywhere?

Sounds like an allergy to me. I'd try to get some anti-histamine pills, I'm not sure if you can buy them over the counter there but you can here in the UK. I get the same, I have sensitive skin and lots of things can start it off.

Then obviously see the doc to confirm

Is it showing up on your skin at all? If not, then it's systemic and probably allergies of some kind and your doctor can confirm that with tests and hopefully you can avoid whatever is making you itchy once you know what it is.

If it's more localized to small areas, or if your skin is red in some places, then it might be something different. Topical anti-itch stuff might help you for now, but I'd get yourself to a doctor anyway since it's been going on for a while like you say.

Have you ever been allergy tested? I would consider it if you are constantly itchy I can't even imagine how annoying that must be! Also try taking an allergy pill everyday. You can order them through Amazon for really cheap like $15 for a years supply

Allergy most likely - your shampoo/body wash could be the culprit. Even what you wash your bed sheets with. The least likely thing I can suggest is hair growth.

I was in a similar boat earlier, except it was in different locations. Benadryl really helped, you should try.

^I agree with the Benadryl advice but be warned that it will make you drowsy. I take Benadryl for my insomnia.

I've never been lice tested after middle school... but i think it would be constantly itching or rough? I have my moments were i scratch my head like crazy.

I've never been allergy tested either..
but i never like cold or cool showers..even when it's hot out the warm water just feels good. Is that bad idea? And it's just waist up. My back is always itchy during the night. Nothing noticable on my skin.

    And i can't order anything off amazon..(banned)
ill check my drug store tommorow thanks all
