Even though this movie is one of the worst ovies I've watched, I still love making fun of it. XD It's kind of creepy but amusing at the same time. MST3K did an episode on it which is also quite funny.

    Oh my goodness.

    Mirrormask. Absolutely stunning.

That song, right there, is what makes it for me <3

If you have Netflix watch Bad Ass (has Danny Trejo in it. epiccccc!)
& I watched the haunted house movie before it became big on Netflix. Sooo good. I've re-watched it so many times. And the new one is even better!

    is it spooky season yet?

Not sure if it would be considered 'non mainstream' or not, but it was a pretty interesting movie xD. One particular part in it I had to look away from just because I don't do well with bodily fluids HOWEVER, it was still a really good movie, if not a bit gory in some parts. Sheds some light on the world of Body Modding.
I started watching that yesterday because I love Katharine Isabelle and the Soska Sisters, but I had just watched Contracted...so I stopped just to give my mind a break.

Gotta be Hard Candy and Detachment. Detachment is super hardcore and Ellen Page is my waifu. Also The Perks Of Being A Wallflower but that one is quite well known.

Burn After Reading is a hidden gem, I highly recommend it, it's hilarious! Also, a more recent and serious film is Prisoners. It's like 2 hours long but had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I really enjoyed the Dutch movie Isabelle. It's very creepy but fascinating, a story about the kidnapping of a gorgeous woman by a "less attractive" woman with sick intentions (not bloody/sexual).
Another Dutch movie that's very much alike but more psychological is Het Gouden Ei (translated: The Golden Egg). Very good. Very creepy.
