Whatever insurance company my parents have gave me a discount for my GPA and an additional discount for getting an A in driver's ed, your insurance company might do the same, but they probably won't give you more discounts on top of that if you're a new driver since you haven't gone a consecutive number of years without an accident. I know some insurance companies offer discounts if you take defensive driving courses but I think you may have to be a certain age for that. Your best bet is to just call/meet with someone from your insurance company and just discuss all the discounts they offer.
