I felt that Viacom is what made certain parts of neopets suck balls.

I agree with this. From what I've seen, the amount of freezing going on these days on neo has gotten to be ridiculous. Hopefully now that they are no longer going to be under Nick, this will stop.Originally Posted by Narkotiq
My theory is that maybe since Jumpstart is going to *hopefully* be aiming towards the older audience that neo has that maybe some of the rules will either be changed or removed completely, that way users don't have to be as paranoid or feel like they're walking on eggshells while they're trying to do something completely harmless or say something completely harmless.
On a side note, I hope neo changes their filters regarding LGBT stuff.

Yeah I hope it becomes more like gaia. You can cuss and use all kinds of LGBT themes and such. I don't think kids even play neo and if they do they probably aren't as innocent as neo would think. Kids are making very adult decisions and using adult language at very young ages now. Why censor them from something they already do?

Not much. For the most part, the team you know and (hopefully) love isn't going anywhere. (We love you, too, by the way.) We'll continue to make weird items and crazy stories and try our best to keep you entertained. We're just part of JumpStart now, and they're Neopians, too.

i've heard jumpstart's customer service is incredible, so maybe it's a good thing?
maybe they'll actually put some time and effort into getting peoples accounts back, lol
my guess is they're trying to make a ~*~new name~*~ for themselves and not be known for making games for people ages 5-10

That's what some companies do these days. Guess they're just trying to make it even bigger in the marketing world or something.
