It depends what you are planning to do. What i meant was, what is the end result of the program that you want to write. You should write it out what you want the program do. Programming is very much like writing an essay. You need an introduction, several body paragraphs, then a conclusion. Simplest thing to do is write an auto script for daily. Basically you tell the script, what you want to complete, what address/link to script, time wait, etc. Ask Joe or darkbyte for advice, they are extremely helpful in these field

You should try going through the tutorials @(you need an account to see links) made for me.
(you need an account to see links) and (you need an account to see links)
    Theyre really easy to follow.

Also I'd look at the CodeAcademy. Its a website which teaches many different types of coding. They work hands on which really helps things stick!

I know the feeling! Maybe not the stuck at work so much as I do that from home. Although having 5 minutes to myself would be lovely!

Try learning Python. It's easy to understand, almost like just talking to your computer. Let me know if you encounter any difficulty

I'll take things one at a time XD I'll get to python later I think if it's "easy" to learn, really looking at doing Java it seems the be popular and straight forward.

A program is like a cake. In order to make it, there has to be a recipe. A set of instructions.

There is always a step 1.

If you're unsure of how to go from one step to another, google/research. YouTube helps for anyone who learns better visually.

So to answer some of the possible questions you sort of made reference to in your OP, google your questions and concerns (how to start programming, what language should I begin with, etc.) and go from there.
