I could be referencing anyone. "control" is broad...
they have control ultimately by luck and one day it'll be run out. one day they're going to mess with someone who's going to put them in a ditch literally or figuratively
And I'm just saying, there's more than two people that could hugely affect the market if they wanted. And it's not exactly luck that got these people their exploits/power. They put in the time, they got the results.

just look at the other cheat forums and on top of that the NEOPET selling sites there are so many.
I know someone whos found a recent new np gen making near a billion neopoints a day.
If they were to flood the market and be greedy. it would lower the cost to np to .1 / mil
Wat steven was saying is simply that if their are easy exploits out there, it will ruin the market as well and ruin neopets even further.
I would rather a handful of people (there are def more than 2) who can manipulate the game, than 100 people who can.
Therefore patching easy found exploits is a must.
And yes it is more beneficial to steven, and is a smart move on his part.
it does two things.
saves neopets from becoming a straight hacked site that anyone can hack by a simple google search
saves the market from being flooded with shit. even on neopets. If everyone hacked. the price of items would become worthless, the value of np would become worthless.
huge thing in economics, supply and demand. you dwindle the supply, the demand raises

Thing is these post are based on assumption I consider everything I do already , I already think long term. I do not expect or want this to last forever I never have for now im just enjoying the ride.
Also jds point above is correct. I do not make alot of $$ off neo now days , I could of just sold items/inactives for alot of money but thats not how I do things.
