where did the series end? Is the series really worth watching? I have heard about how good it is and all but I read the books and usually i don't watch the movie/TV adaptation when I have read the books cos books are always better imo

Books are always better than the movies/shows because they have stuff that the movies/shows cannot always encompass due to budget/time constraints etc. Stuff such as extra characters/sub plots etc. Not to mention the storyline is not always accurate in shows/movies compared to the original book. However if you are not a avid reader and are more of a visual person like myself who likes to see the characters come to life then it won't please you too much. On the other hand if you love the show very much it will be a worthwhile read.

I personally would not recommend it if you do not have the time. Its no big deal you got the shows to make up for it.

I'm usually really pro books over films/shows (the only exception being LOTR) which is why I was planning on reading the books first. Although I end up getting really anal about details not being followed in adaptations, so it's nice to watch something for once and not concern myself with "well it didn't happen like this in the book". I'll probably get round to reading them at some point.

OT: The books are very tedious to read! Thick book and small fonts dammit but once you start to read, you just want to keep on reading. What I tried to do is read in advance of the series like 1-2 eps but it never works. The series takes scenes from different books at a time so it's confusing. I decided to just stop reading and wait for the episodes lol.

But it's by far one of the most amazing series ever.

This season is by far one of the bests. I still think the part where Arya and the Hound reach the Eyrie and find out what happened to Lysa, is soooo funny. Arya's laugh was just so adorable. Poor Hound... he takes her across the country over and over and each time that family member he's trying to ransom her to is already dead.

Damn season finale was good, but sadly someone already ruined the ending for me like months ago...

No one ruined the ending for me, I actually laughed a lot during this episode, and now i hate kaleesea.
