    Your opinion on the NSA?

I consider most people here my peers, so I'm curious to see what you guys think?
I know the media is saying one thing, and some of our higher ranking members of the government don't often support them, but I want to know what everyone else thinks.

I'l post my opinion later, I just wanna see what the general consensus is!

Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

Well, what do you think about it overall?
I have family that worked and are working there now, some the equivalent of generals in the army (based of their ranking system). But even after I visited a few weeks back, I found there are lots of mixed opinions.

No you don't have to be in the Army to work at the NSA. Although some people do join the NSA after their tours are done.
But they go off a similar pay scale, so that's why I related the Army and the NSA.
The NSA ranks are numbers. I don't know the exact names but you stat at 1 something. Then level 2, level 2 step a or something. It goes up to level 15, then if you go up from there youre in the senior level... pretty much much more work and responsibility without much of a pay raise at all. Best to stick to around level 15 if you ever make it that high!

Anyway, on topic, do you have an opinion on the NSA? good/bad?

being from the uk we know little of the nsa but from what i read on wiki i can see they do a vital job....to a point, its when they over step their own boundaries (which in many cases they are reported doing) that it would become an issue.

The NSA topic has been brought up in my home a lot lately.
I feel like a lot of shady stuff is going on. The ready-to-go coffins, the meals they're stocking up on, that huge castle being built in MO that they're trying to play off as a personal home.
The large subterras.... It's all pretty shady and the phrase "population control" comes to my mind often.
That's really my opinion. They're shady and I don't think they're really up to good.

Wait whattttt?! Do you have links to that stuff? I hadn't heard about some of that stuff before now! :p

Are you thinking about the NSA or homeland security? Homeland security were the ones stocking up on all that ammo, buy TONS of riot gear, tanks deployed in the US, and even mass amounts of potassium iodide (for radiation poisoning).

I heard about something similar to the castle thing, but what I read was something being put together by a group of people who wanted to live somewhere with a group of people with similar ideals. It was like a group of people who I consider extremist. You know the whole ammo stockpiles (..just in case), MRE's, prepper types haha

I guess the NSA is comparable to the GCHQ (I think that's what it's called?). They have worked closely with one another on many things I'm pretty sure!
