when it comes to threads, when has one been inactive too long to bring it back to life?

thank you.
Personally, I don't date anyone past 45. I mean, they have to be able to get it up, you know.
at another forum, there are threads almost 10 years old that are still active :o
It depends really. A forum with 1,000 new posts a day--you're not likely to see old threads cropping up again, especially if they're on page 2 or 3. A slow-moving forum could tolerate a higher threshold of threads being revived, in practicality. However, when you revive a thread that's 1-2 years old, usually the original posters aren't there anymore--so I guess in some sense you can always have a "new" rehashed discussion with new people. But there's usually nothing else to say at that point, with everyone making their points.
Depends on forum
