I'm sorry the guy has had his head up his ass ever since election.

Granted he had a lot put on his plate when he was elected but the guy has been running around with his head cut off ever since he stepped into office.

Borrow borrow borrow solves everything. That's why our economy even though it's recovering slowly but surely is still shit.

And yes I agree with you royalty. China has us bent over right now waiting to ram us a good one with how much money we owe them.

I swear, if they end up granting legal status to the 11million (11,000,000~~~!!!!!!) people, that's gonna be another nail in the coffin for our economy.
And him saying that if congress won't help him, he will use executive orders to get done what he wants to get done. I guess he can just do whatever he wants whenever he wants.
It's like he wants to ruin the country, it's incredible.

    1. "No Child Left Behind" was proposed/passed by Bush, not President Obama. (It sucks.)

    2. Since President Obama took office in 2009, employment rates have been steadily decreasing.

    3. Pres Obama spearheaded The Affordable Care Act -- that makes him a hero in my book any day.

Ok I'll stop there. Agree to disagree?

Well Bush hasn't been in office for years now. So I'm not sure what Obama has done since the No Child Left Behind, other than lowering standards and making it easier. Just in Maryland, they lowered the test scores needed, that was last year I think.

Unemployment hasn't really been decreasing. It's just that the number of people on unemployment is so massive, that they have seen a lot of people reach the max amount of time they can be on it. It's not that unemployment rates are going down, it's that so many people are completely LEAVING the workforce. The numbers the media spits out are all inaccurate because they like to look at things to further their agenda.

Obamacare is flawed. I was reading a week or so ago how the people leading the charge were going on and on about how the law won't succeed without the younger people signing up. "We need the younger people to get out and sign up!" - yeah, so that the healthy people can pay for everyone else. Premiums have gone up tremendously, it's crazyyy. When even the leaders of our nation want the chance to opt out, of a law they are forcing on the people, you know something is wrong there.

Considering we've had literally the least productive Congress in the history of the United States, I think it's a no brainer that he should step in so that the shit we're all complaining about can get fixed. And the country was in a shit spiral before he ever showed up. Shit can't be fixed if he continues to be denied the means to do so.

Also this. If it wasn't for him, I would be looking at paying a $160k medical bill instead of $3k because I'm still covered by my parents medical insurance. Actually, with follow up visits and all the other stuff, I'd probably be looking at closer to $200k+. I have a college degree. I have 2 jobs. I wasn't getting insurance coverage from either job before the ACA. Now I don't have to worry about it for another year, and when I DO have to worry about it, I won't be SOL because now I have options.

I haven't watched the SotU (DVRing that shit), so I'll repost with thoughts later, but I HAD to say something.

I don't follow politics very often... afraid of harming myself from wall-punching.
