over this side of the pond we get a lot of us comedy programmes, going back to cheers, golden girls and the like up to todays, big bang theory,family gut.....( the totally unfunny how i met your mother), a lot are just funny full stop and others even when they reference us culture make us laugh even if we dont quite get it....( see family guy).
what i wondered is if it works the other way, going back to the 2 ronnies, porridge, monty python, through the young ones, bottom, men behaving badly, up to the mighty boosh, mrs browns boys. so do yanks get uk humor?
