I got perma'd on my side account and self-froze. When I sent in a ticket to get it back, not only did I get it back but I also got unperma'd. o.o So idk if that's the case with all unforzen accounts, but yeah that worked for me..I waited like 6 months before sending in a ticket to get it unfrozen though.
