    Valentines Day 2014

    Valentines Day 2014

    Do you "celebrate" valentines day?

Do you think its the most romantic day ever or do you think its a stupid created holiday?

I personally think it is a little overrated but I still celebrate it..

Its an excuse to treat myself to something nice (which I already did way ahead of time!) and an excuse to buy my honey something nice (I spoil him)

I have no plans or ideas for him as of yet..

This is gunna be my first Valentine's Day with my guy this year and I am soooo excited! We aren't going to do anything special, just watch movies, eat some pizza, and snuggle all day/night and drink some wine. I've never been one for a big fancy Valentine's Day (mostly because we are both sort of broke atm.) but just spending time is gunna be great.

I don't usually celebrate big Valentine's day things, like with lots of money, but past V-days have always been pretty nice. I view it as 'Partner Appreciation Day', and sometimes just spending quality time with yor lover is worth more than spending a lot of money doing big stuff. I say this as a dirt poor person, though, hehehe.

I 'do' go all out on Christmas, though! :3

Hope everyone's V-days are awesome, single or taken. (Bought my parents some really nice chocolates. Just show someone you care about that they mean something to ya!)

Meh, myself, I don't care that much.

If somebody is special to you, you should show them your love 24/7, 365 a days. Buy my gf likes it, and since our 5 year anniversary is the 7th of February, we're going to Paris on valentines day.

It's not that it's not special so me, it's just that I'd prefer to make it special for someone else. You get what I'm saying?? Sure, I enjoy some lovey-dovey hearts and romantic stuff, but give me a thing of chocolate and I'm set xD But I know how special it is for others so its different for what I would do for them (Cards, little gifts, all that stuff )

Not that I wanna sound like a Debbie downer but...

I used to really enjoy valentines day and it was always something my husband and I would make an effort to do something special for, however, my grandfather passed away last year on valentines day, so sadly the day will never be the same for me.
Now I try to make as many days as special as possible with my family... so yeah that's my current take on valentines day

Though, a positive side of V-day (when taken): sex.

    Guaranteed.

Yes. That's what I love about this day. Sex. All day. So much sex, I'll be bowlegged on the 15th!

This is probably going to be strange post from me.

I absolutely adore Valentine's Day. I think it's one of the cutest holidays (even if Hallmark made) and has lots of potential. My kid's last name is Valentine so I consider it 'their' day. I always go all out for Valentine's. Each of them get little goodie bags and tons of fun stuff to do.

This year their school doesn't have school so I'm planning a lot for it. I don't think of it as a love day or an appreciation day, I think that should be every day and not just for one day. But when you have little kids it's great to show them how fun that day can be without a relationship.

I used to love Valentine's Day when I was a kid because it was an afternoon at school where we had class parties eating cinnamon hearts and exchanging valentine cards. My favorite were the Batman and Spider-Man ones I got from the bros. I also liked to write messages on the back of them to hand out to the other kids; I'd give the ugly card designs in my box to the kids I didn't like, kekekeke.

That changed and became depressing for me once handing out Valentine's cards became lame and pussy insertion became cool. Life...

What a horrible thing to say. V-days are never awesome.
The day you lose them, on the other hand, is awesome.
