Need your genuis computer skillz guys

Okay so i went to skype with my mom and sister today and my built in web cam wasn't working at all, it worked fine last night in tc. so i tried to update the driver said it was up to date, i uninstalled and reinstalled the driver that didnt work, i refreshed my computer to near dam factory settings that didnt work either, im out of ideas besides going and buying a usb web cam (but that would be just idiotic). but when i go to manage the device i have to show hidden devices and its giving me this message Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

but how can i reconnect something that's built in ive tried all the fn plus esc to turn on and off that didnt do shit. and ive tried all the automatic troubleshoot,
so my question is to you guys, is there anything else you can think of that i haven't tried before i just consider it faulty?

Go to your control panel, device manager, and the imaging. Does your webcam show up?

Well if you right click on the webcam, try to disable and then enable it. That's solved some problems I've had with connecting to mine before.

Ouch it won't even let you do that? Can you access the properties of it? does it say it's working properly?
Do you think it broke or there is just a mis communication somewhere in the system

Edit: glad you found a temporary solution but we shall get to the bottom of this one lol I'ma keep looking it up

man ive been on the lenovo forums for like the past 3 hours, theres other people with the same problem and they just told them to contact support and get it fixed so im guessing its something with the camera it self just didnt want that to be the reason i just got the computer for christmas
