So, I'm here at my aunts house for a bit, and she has direct TV, and she got a good deal on services yadda yadda yadda... And now my parents are getting services
Problem is HOW DO I USE IT
And what channels are on there?? I'm aware it's an American cable company and my aunt gets American channels...but how do I know what to watch? D: and can I still get canadian channels? The interactive guide on direct TV is so confusing, I don't even know how to get to half the channels. I know Americans have much more channels and shows than us Canadians, as I only get about 300 useable channels right now.
I usually user Rogers cable, anyone who can explain to me the jist of direct TV +rep
@(you need an account to see links)
Like about 150 of those channels are either
a) time shift channels
b) some sort of channel selling me things
c) sunset channel, fireplace channel..basically like a bigass screensaver
d) borderline porn
e) "repeat channels"; like the news on channel 7, then again on channel 107.
f) HD
So, knock it down to like...100. xD
But I heard Americans get like, much more? Like upwards of 1000? Not that I'm complaining about what I have now though. just I could never figure out where anything was on direct TV, or if they have on demand services, etc.
wHAT
Seriously?? The only reason we have more channels than we watch is because you can't do that here.
He'll, I'd rather have 30 channels I actually use AND pay for than what we have now. Load of shit, omg.
But I get like HBO, lifetime and some movie channel, idk what it does. Your channels are so confusing, too. ;_;
I wanted to watch YTV (Canadian TV network), and I was like looking for it for an hour until I found out it was nickelodeon /sad
That would've been some important information smiley xo
Excuse me while I go find that on a map |D
