So I found this things that saddened me..

I was trying to y'know, find info and an email for this guy's neo account, y'know.. The good ol' crackering into accounts. And I was googling stuff.. And I was trying to find his email. But instead I found his birthday and it was on a funeral/cemetery/death site. So I tried the birthday on the Neopets account wondering if it is him.. And it was him. I felt really sad afterwards.. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 31.

Has anyone else ever witnessed something like this before when DOXing people for Neopets?

By preserving the person's memory, keep his pet/account alive and active. May he rest in peace knowing someone is taking care of his virtual pet. No punt or sarcasm intended.

I actually wouldn't mind if someone did this. I actually get a bit sad thinking about if I passed without ever managing to tell my good neofriends, and then to them I'd just have vanished and my account would go inactive and they wouldn't know what happened... :/

That's one way to think of it. It would just feel so strange though to log on someone that had passed account. He was so young. I mean I'd love to feed his pets and all. I just need his password and that's it. But I still would feel horribly wrong for logging in.

He had leukemia. Actually someone wrote a book about him in his small town. I saw pics of it. But he actually was on vid chat with people from neodrama the night he passed. From what I remember he was hella chill. And really cute haha

Yeah it was really awesome haha after we found out he passed people were making little neo shrines to him that all said RSiP lol

That's so sad. I found myself wondering one day if any of the inactive accounts I've accessed were from people who had died. So sad that guy had cancer. My friend is battling stage 4 lymphoma but it keeps spreading..
